I am interested in Aztec cosmovision focused on XVI th century religion. My Master thesis at National University Autonomous of Mexico was about the tzompantli (skull racks), which was based on written sources, archaeological evidence and images in codices. At present I want to study the symbolism pertaining to rituals of human decapitation in ancient Mesoamerica.
