Archaeology

Originally from deep in the heart of Texas, I am a second- year archaeology graduate student. My professional interests include the archaeology of Mesoamerica, lithic studies, Maya writing, and economic anthropology. My recent focus has been on the production and exchange of stone tools in Mesoamerica. I have been fortunate enough to participate in fieldwork in Belize and the Great Basin area. I like to spend my spare time with Ana, my wife of six years. I also enjoy backpacking, camping, and hiking when she lets me leave the house.
