Dan is an archaeology student focusing on the Maya region. He has worked for the past 2 seasons on the Holmul Archaeological Project in Guatemala, excavating various structures of an E-Group at the preclassic site of Cival. Interests include bioarchaeology, the rise of complex civilizations, land use and resource control in bajos and the origins of Maya kingship.
